What is it?

An ampoule is the Korean skincare word for a concentrated serum sold in a small dose: stronger and dearer per millilitre than an ordinary serum, and used a few drops at a time. This is the firming one in the range. If fine lines and dullness concern you more than firmness, look at the Cellular Rejuvenation Complex Ampoule instead — they do different jobs and you only need one.

Generex makes it to be followed by the Dermatox Firming Enriched Cream, which goes on top and holds it against the skin overnight. They are sold separately and each works on its own, but they are formulated as a pair. One bottle lasts most people six to eight weeks at two to three pumps a night, which is why it is also sold as a four-bottle course at a lower price per bottle.

How do you use it?

At night, after cleansing and before your cream. Two to three pumps over the face and neck, pressed in with your palms rather than rubbed. If your skin has not used a concentrated serum before, use it every second night for the first week. Keep the bottle out of direct sunlight.
